Here’s a list of resources I have used to grow and run this blog.
All items listed are things I have personally purchased and tried.
And I’ve tried a lot of courses and products since launching my blog in the Summer of 2020. And some (like a lot) were a waste of money. But these are my absolute favorite products and courses – the ones I would recommend to my closest friends and family if they wanted to start a blog.

COURSES TO HELP GROW YOUR BLOG
Get Traffic to your Blog
Stupid Simple SEO
Course Creator: Mike Futia
What I Love About the Course: It’s a step-by-step course that walks you through finding great keywords and writing great content that ranks on Google.
Stupid Simple SEO was the first major investment I made into my blog. And before this course, I had ZERO traffic from Google. After going through the course and tweaking one of my posts, it was ranking #3. I was so excited that I made this post in the group:
I owe it all to this course for getting my very first post to the first page of Google! If you’re ready to dominate Google and SEO, Stupid Simple SEO is for you!
Perks: Signing up for Stupid Simple SEO also gives you access to a Facebook group to ask questions about the course and get other tips from your peers.
Course Creator: Carly Campbell
What I Love About the Course: Tips for both new and old accounts are given tips, plus setting up Pinterest boards and what you MUST HAVE for every pin you pin.
Pinterest Strategies is the first Pinterest course I purchased. And I’m glad I did. I had no idea what I was doing, NONE. Carly’s course cleared up a lot for me like setting up my boards correctly and what to include in my boards as well as pins and pin descriptions. I’m pretty sure I went through the course quite a few times and it is still something I reference until this day.
If you’re ready to up your Pinterest game, don’t miss out on Pinterest Strategies.
Pinterest With Ell
Course Creator: Ell Duclos
What I Love About the Course: This course covers topics that do well on Pinterest, power words that do well on pins, and how to do keyword research for Pinterest.
While Pinterest With Ell is the second Pinterest course I purchased, it still has helped me a lot. This course has helped me lock down a solid pinning strategy – and I’m grateful because this is something I obviously needed to be spelled out in black and white. Also, Ell shares tips on creating a variety of pins and how to make your pins stand out, and what basically makes a GOOD pin. Before this course, my pins were ugly! And they had no variety at all. And I have no shame in admitting that.
Perks: Purchasing this course also comes with access to a Facebook group to ask questions and get feedback.
Which Pinterest Course Should I Get?
It’s entirely up to you. Both courses are entirely different, and both are up-to-date. Truthfully, you can’t go wrong with either one.
Grow Your Blog Income
Mastering Sales With Ell
Course Creator: Ell Duclos
What I Love About the Course: This course covers your blog foundation, mindset, digital products, affiliate marketing, and how to get clients.
If you have no idea where to start with making sales on your blog, Mastering Sales With Ell is a great place to start. This is the course that just brought everything together for me. I was all over the place about what I needed to do, what should I sell, and how to even make a sale. But this course actually helped me to come up with a plan for sales on my own blog. Do you see the cute little button below?
I actually got this idea from the course! So if you want a way to create a sales plan for your own blog, you should definitely check it out.
Course Creator Bundle
Product Creator: Julia from Julia on Purpose
What I Love About this Product: This comes with EVERYTHING you need to cohesively launch your course. I’m talking course slides, sales templates, Pinterest and Instagram promotion templates, and much more.
Listen, if you’re struggling with launching a course as far as the design goes, you NEED the Course Creator Bundle. I don’t have a course, yet. But I used the workbook in the bundle to create my VERY FIRST product. It is beautifully designed.
